Accessing files
1. On the Home screen, select Start ➔ More ➔ Applications ➔
File Explorer and press the key. The list of the folders
in the phone’s memory displays.
2. Scroll to the folder that you want to view.
3. Select an item to open and press .
Using file management options
From the file directory, press the Menu soft key to access the
following options:
– Send: Send a file as part of an Outlook® E-mail message.
– Beam: Send a file via Bluetooth.
– Edit: Access file editing options, such as Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete,
Rename and New Folder.
– Properties: Access the file or folder properties.
– View: Change the view mode of the files from Icons or List.
– Sort By: Change the sort order of the files by Name, Date, Size or
Type.
– My Device: Access the file directory of your phone.
– Storage Card: When activating the Storage Card option, it moves
directly to the Storage Card folder.
– My Documents: Access the My Documents folder.
Java
Enables Java programs to launch and run under the Windows
Mobile Application.
Mobile Banking
You can access your banking information on your device.
Banking allows you to view balances, perform transfers, view
account history and pay bills directly from your mobile phone.
Partner banks include: Citi, Chase, Wachovia, SunTrust, USAA,
Regions, Arvest,
Caroline, 1st Bank,
To Start
1. On the Home screen, select Start ➔ More ➔ Applications ➔
Mobile Banking and press the key.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions.
MobiTV
MobiTV is a subscription service that allows you to watch your
favorite TV shows using your handset.
Important!: MobiTV requires a significant amount of data streaming. You
must have a data plan and a Bluetooth GPS Receiver to use this
feature.
1. On the Home screen, select Start ➔ More ➔ Applications ➔
MobiTV and press the key.
2. Follow the directions on the screen to accept the End User
License Agreement and to purchase the feature.
Note: Before purchasing MobiTV, make sure you turn off Wi-Fi if it has been
enabled. For more information, refer to “Disconnecting Wi-Fi” on
page 88.
The MobiTV initialization screen displays, showing the
progress of the application. Once the initialization is
complete, the on-screen TV guide for the channels
available displays.
3. Select the channel you would like to watch.
4. To exit MobiTV, press the Options soft key, and select the
Exit option.
My-Cast Weather
My-Cast® is a user-friendly application which runs on your
mobile phone giving you access to all the weather information
you need. You can check current and predicted National Weather
Service data for your immediate location, your travel destination,
or virtually anywhere else in the continental
The application is a separately licensed product that requires you
to download the feature to your handset, and accept the license
agreement before using. A trial period is provided for you to test
it for your own use.
To Start My-Cast Weather
1. On the Home screen, select Start ➔ More ➔ Applications ➔
More ➔ My-Cast Weather and press the key.
2. The MyCast Weather screen will appear followed by an
option screen.
3. You can select Radar & Maps, Forecast, Severe Weather,
Manage Locations, Help, or About.
4. Press the Exit soft key to exit the application.
Photo Slides
The Photo Slides feature allows you to see a slide show of all of
your photos.
1. On the Home screen, select Start ➔ More ➔ Applications ➔
More ➔ Photo Slides and press the key. All of your
folders that contain photos will be displayed with
thumbnails of the photos.
2. Highlight a folder and press the Slide show soft key to see
a slide show of all of your photos in that folder.
3. Press the key to display a tool bar that allows you to
pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, rotate photos, or play
music.
4. To access folder options, highlight a folder and press the
Menu soft key. The following options are displayed:
• Create album: creates a new album for your photos. Enter an
Album name and a date for easy identification.
• Show: allows you to show folders, albums, or scroll bar.
• Refresh: refreshes folder photo thumbnails to update any changes,
or additions that were made.
• About: shows copyright, trademark, and version information.
• Exit: exits the Photo Slides application.
5. To access photo options, highlight a photo and press the
Menu soft key. The following options are displayed:
• Create album: creates a new album for your photos. Enter an
Album name and a date for easy identification.
• Rotate Left: rotates the photo 90 degrees to the left.
• Rotate Right: rotates the photo 90 degrees to the right.
• Delete photo: deletes the photo from the folder.
• Edit: allows you to cut or copy the photo.
• Show: allows you to show folders, albums, or scroll bar.
• Refresh: refreshes photo to update any change that was made.
• About: shows copyright, trademark, and version information.
• Exit: exits the Photo Slides application.
RSS Reader
RSS reader allows quick and easy syndication of news,
headlines, and more. It will keep you up to date with the latest
news, tools, resources and developments of this widely
supported specification.
open RSS Reader:
On the Home screen, select Start ➔ More ➔ Applications ➔
More ➔ RSS Reader and press the key. The news
channel list displays.
1. From the news channel list, press the Update soft key. The
phone connects to the network and updates the news
channel list with the latest information.
2. Press the Done soft key to return to the channel list.
3. Select the new channel you want.
4. Select the headline in which you have a interest. The
Internet Explorer launches and you can view to the
corresponding news website.
Exporting or importing channels
You can export a channel as an OPML file format or import OPML
files from other sources.
To export a channel:
1. Scroll to a channel from the list.
2. Press the Menu soft key and select OPML ➔ Export.
3. Enter a file name and press the OK soft key.
The file is saved in the selected folder.
To import a channel:
1. Scroll to the folder to which you want to import a channel.
2. Press the Menu soft key and select OPML ➔ Import.
3. Select the file to import.
