Applications

This section lists and describes the programs delivered on your

device.

Adobe Reader LE

Adobe Reader LE enables you to access the same PDF files you

view on your desktop, on your phone without conversion.

1. To access Adobe Reader LE, on the Home screen, select

Start More Applications Adobe Reader LE and press

the key.

2. Use the navigation keys to scroll to the location of the PDF

file you would like to view and press the key. The

PDF will be displayed.

3. Press the Tools soft key and select Zoom to zoom in or out

on the PDF.

4. Press the Menu soft key to access the following options:

• Open: allows you to open the PDF.

• About Adobe Reader: displays version and copyright information

for the Adobe Reader LE.

• Exit: allows you to exit the application.

5. Press the Exit soft key to quit the application and return to

the Start menu.

Call History

Call History details all incoming, outgoing, and missed calls, and

also provides a summary of total calls. It can also tell you when a

call was initiated and how long it lasted.

_ To access your Call History, on the Home screen, select Start

More Applications Call History and press the key.

Camera

With the built-in camera of your phone, you can take photos or

record videos of people or events while on the move. Your phone

produces JPEG photos and 3GP videos.

From the Home screen, select Start More Applications

Camera and press the key, or press the Camera key .

Taking photos

When you access Camera mode, the image to be captured

displays.

Important!: There has to be at least 4Mb of memory left in order to take

photos. The largest image size is 4Mb.

1. Adjust the image to capture.

Move the Volume key Up or Down to zoom in or out on your

subject.

Move the Navigation key Up to access your viewfinder options.

Move the Navigation key Down to access your timer options.

Move the Navigation key Right or Left to adjust the brightness of

the image.

Press the View soft key to view your Pictures folder.

Press the Menu soft key to access the camera options.

Use the number keypad to adjust the image quickly.

2. Press or to take a photo.

3. Press the Save soft key to save the photo.

The photo is saved to the location specified in the Default

Storage option. After saving the photo, the camera

automatically returns to Photo Preview mode.

Setting camera options

You can customize the camera settings. Once you change the

camera settings, the corresponding icons display at the top of the

photo preview screen.

On the preview screen, press the Menu soft key.

Camera Mode: switches to Camcorder mode.

Shooting Mode: changes the camera shooting mode.

Single Shot: takes a normal single shot.

Multi Shot: takes a series of stills. You should keep pressing the

camera key to take a series of stills (up to 9). If you do not keep

pressing the key, the multi shot will be stopped.

Frame Shot: takes shot and places a frame around it. Press the

Change soft key to change the frame. Press the List soft key for

thumbnails of possible frame choices.

Mosaic Shot: takes 4 shots and places them in a mosaic.

Smile Shot: takes a shot automatically after smiling. The subject

should smile after you press the camera key.

Scene: changes the camera scene mode.

Auto: automatically determines best scene mode.

Night Mode: automatically adjusts lighting for nighttime photos.

Landscape: adjusts settings best suited for landscape views.

Portrait: adjusts settings best suited for close, still objects

Text: adjusts settings best suited for text.

Sports: adjusts settings best suited for moving objects.

Sunset: adjusts settings best suited for sunset.

Dawn: adjusts settings best suited for dawn.

Resolution: allows you to select an image resolution.

White Balance: allows you to select the white balance mode to adjust

the color balance of photos.

ISO: ISO denotes how sensitive the image sensor is to the amount of

light present. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the image sensor

and therefore the possibility to take pictures in low-light situations.

Metering: allows you to change the light metering mode. Select

Average (from the entire scene) or Spot (the very center of the scene).

Effect: changes the color tone for photos or applies a special effect to

photos.

Video Share: allows you to launch the Video Share Application (only

when available).
